We are very excited to announce that this year the Devon Meadows CFA Family Fun Day will be held at Botanic Ridge Village.
When: Sunday May 26th
Time: 10am – 2pm.
The team have lots of activities planned for the kids and kids at heart including:
A Fire Safety Show at 12pm, including a special performance from Buddy the Firedog and Captain Koala!
A sausage sizzle, slinging snags in bread from 11:30am.
The tanker will be there so the kids and kids at heart can climb all over it and learn what it’s like to be a firefighter.
A new ultralight tanker will also be on display, as well as another new vehicle to the brigade.
For the adults the community engagement unit with be onsite with all the information you need to know about home fire safety, including the launch of their new smoke alarm installation program for 2024.
Have you been thinking about joining the CFA? There will be members on hand to answer all your questions and explain what it is like to be a CFA Volunteer as well.
